Fortress Technologies announced that it has been selected as part of the Telos Corporation team to support the U.S. Army’s Combat Service Support Automated Information System Interface (CAISI) program. Under the terms of the agreement, Fortress will provide its ES520 Secure Wireless Access Bridges as part of the overall implementation. Telos will deploy the Fortress component as the anchor of the solution, creating the CAISI Bridge Module that the Army will use to provide connectivity from soldiers on the battlefield to their logistics networks. The Fortress ES520 is an all-in-one network access device with built-in Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) 140-2 validated security. The ES520 is suited to work as a self-contained network combining the functions of a wireless access point, Ethernet switch, and security gateway in a form factor engineered specifically for harsh outdoor environments.
