SYWARE announced the Spring 2008 Visual CE and
Associated Tools training courses. Visual CE is a rapid application development
tool used to create database applications that run on Microsoft Windows Mobile
Pocket PCs.
SYWARE will offer this round of classes near
its corporate headquarters in Cambridge, MA. The first class will be held on
May 5, 2008 and will be a full day session covering basic database design and
an introduction to mobile application development with Visual CE. An
intermediate full day class will be held on May 6, 2008 covering Visual CE
development specifics.
"Visual CE and Associated Tools
Introductory Class" is appropriate for someone who has never written a
program before, but is comfortable with computers, or someone who has used
desktop database development systems, such as MS Access, and wants to start
developing similar applications for Pocket PCs. It will cover the basics of
table design, application architecture, synchronization, and creating a GUI.
"Visual CE and Associated Tools
Intermediate Class" will be open to people who have taken the first class
or those who have some previous experience using Visual CE. It will introduce
Visual CE's associated tools, mEnable and Report CE. The intermediate class
offers detailed instruction on using Visual CE and other SYWARE tools to create
mobile data entry applications
