MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 06/08/09 -- FleetMind Solutions, Inc., the technology leader for fleet management solutions, will unveil its newest fleet management products in Booth #4034 at Waste Expo, June 9-11, in Las Vegas, Nevada. These latest additions to the FleetMind suite will provide waste and recycling firms with an end-to-end view into driver and truck activity, along with an enhanced ability to save time, reduce costs, decrease risks and increase revenues.
"The current economic environment is driving the demand for more visibility into fleet operations to streamline processes and cut costs," said Martin Demers, CEO of FleetMind. "Waste and recycling firms who leverage the best operations-enhancing technology to improve their business performance will be better positioned to address the economic downturn and outrun their competition. With thousands of installed systems, FleetMind is field proven to increase customer density, reduce costs, confirm service performance and increase revenues with the only fully integrated Waste-specific fleet management solution supporting all major back-office systems."
The newest additions to the FleetMind suite include:
- The FleetSmart truck with a new interactive command center that provides a single point of interface for the driver, truck, back office and all communications. This versatile on-board computer features a high quality touch screen display, real-time video and audio functionality, flexible interfaces that ensure easy interaction with the control system, and a lightweight design that can withstand the toughest environments.
- Real-time and fully automated service verification through RFID technologies. This automatically indicates the customer being serviced when a container is lifted, verifies the accuracy of containers being serviced against driver run sheets, and identifies containers that have been moved, stolen or relocated.
- Driver direction through integrated turn-by-turn capabilities for increased productivity. This automatically provides driving directions to the next stop based on run sheet data - no driver input is required! It further provides a graphical view of the calls to the driver, and will automatically re-calculate the route when a driver selects an out-of-sequence manual stop.
FleetMind will showcase its newest suite of industry-leading Waste and Recycling-specific solutions at the Waste Expo, June 9-11, in Las Vegas, Nevada. For more information, visit: http://www.wasteexpo.com/wasteexpo2009/Public/ExhibitorList.aspx?Index=F
