The BMD Development Partner Program is designed to help ISVs (Independent Software Vendors) successfully develop, test and market applications that enhance and extend the functionality of Sage Software’s BMD solutions.
“Candidates must meet stringent criteria in order to be invited to the Endorsed Development Partners program,” said Alan Bryant, senior vice president ISV Programs and Developer Relations for Sage Software’s BMD. “Quest's best-of-breed SQL Server solutions certainly meet all of our requirements and are the same caliber of IT management products that we offer our customers."
“Sage uses Quest tools both internally to develop products and externally to support customer usage issues,” continued Bryant. “We know that our customers rely on Sage MAS 500 and Sage MAS 200 as critical components of their businesses and Quest’s tools make it possible to find a resolution to SQL Server-related issues in a few hours instead of days or even weeks.”
Billy Bosworth, vice president and general manager of Quest’s SQL Server business unit, noted that companies depend on Sage’s MAS ERP systems for continued growth and success. According to Bosworth, “Any availability issues can have a significant impact on a company’s ability to do business. We are excited to partner with Sage to deliver SQL Server management and performance solutions that increase customers’ ability to stay competitive in an evolving market.”
