KARLSRUHE, Germany, October 16 /PRNewswire/ -- RapidSolution Software today announced the release of Videoraptor Version 2 for Windows. New in this release is the ability to search the Internet for MP3 files, an enhanced music video clip download function and an optimized converter for mobile devices. The software is available at http://audials.com.
Today's mobile multimedia devices are powerful. But where does the content come from?
Mobile phones are developing into multi-functional entertainment devices; entertainment devices into multi-functional communications solutions. Today's top Apple iPod model, for example, is equipped with 160 GB of storage for music and videos - enough to hold approximately 40,000 MP3 files having an average file size of 4 MB. At 70 cents per song (the iTunes Music Store price), filling this space would cost the music fan a whopping EUR28,000. Videoraptor 2 offers mobile device owners a smart, affordable alternative.
The Internet's uncharted "treasure islands" - Videoraptor 2 knows how to find them
The Internet offers literally millions of MP3 and music video clip files - an unimaginably large cache of hidden treasure that is, unfortunately, not easy to find. Videoraptor 2 is a meta-search engine for Windows that brings users free MP3 and music video entertainment beyond their wildest dreams. The user need only select his desired artist from Videoraptor's alphabetical directory or enter the artist's name into a search field. Videoraptor responds with a jackpot of search results. The user can then select one or more files from the search results list. Videoraptor starts downloading them immediately.
Music and video clips from the Internet - in the desired format
Videoraptor's conversion function enables users to specify in advance the formats they need for use on mobile devices such as Apple iPods, MP3 players, PDAs, USB sticks and music/multimedia mobile phones. Industry-standard music formats (WMA, OGG, AAC, M4A and WAV) and video formats (WMV, MP4, 3GP and AVI) are supported. Files are automatically converted during the download process. The product's built-in synchronization function then ensures downloaded entertainment is always available on the user's mobile device.
Automated, as-you-surf video capture
Videoraptor's Webclips function automatically downloads the videos a user has viewed while surfing the Web. The number of pre-defined video portals and the amount of entertainment they offer is steadily increasing.
User friendliness and many extras
RapidSolution products have been internationally praised for their ease-of-use and convenient bonus functions. Videoraptor 2 is no different. Included are a media player, CD burner and ID3 tag editor. An "easy-as-1-2-3" ring-tone generator that allows the user to convert any downloaded music track into a personalized ring tone and transfer it to his mobile phone is also on board.
Videoraptor 2 introductory offer
For a short time only, the full version of Videoraptor 2 may be purchased online at http://audials.com for the introductory price of EUR24.95. The product will soon be available in retail stores for EUR29.90.
