This global initiative has teamed up with more than 135 technology companies to help encourage all utilize the IoT and IIoT to its fullest, by taking steps to help business, industry and neighborhoods have access to quality wireless.

Rob Waugh with the Telegraph believes that “The speed boost will come from an unlikely source: the lighting above your head. Instead of Wi-Fi radio aerials beaming data through buildings to your laptop, computer-controlled LED bulbs will flicker above your head, beaming out signals like a super-fast Morse code.”
