View the Spanish Crown Prince Felipe Crowned King Felipe VI with the New App for Google Glass Developed by Droiders for Spanish TV Group, RTVE

The coronation of Crown Prince Felipe as King Felipe VI takes place in Spain on Thursday 19th June. Droiders (www.droiders.com), a Spanish mobile apps specialist agency, has developed the first TV app for Google Glass. The app freely allows any Google Glass user to view the proclamation live through Google Glass.

The Glassware (apps made specifically for Google Glass) has been developed by Droiders for the Spanish media group called RTVE and together, they have accomplished a historic broadcasting milestone.

The event hails the first unveiling of the world pioneering app to view TV in Google Glass.

Through Google glass, viewers can watch Spanish TV in an unparalleled way. Available TV channels include La 1, La 2, Teledeporte and 24 horas.

The app, RTVE for Google Glass, is available from the RTVE and Droiders website, and can be installed in a moment allowing the user to experience it straight away.

In launching this initiative for the wearable device, Droiders and RTVE are leading the path in forming new ways to enjoy traditional media and exploring new ways to communicate.

In doing so, RTVE becomes the first multi-device broadcasting organisation in the world. From a traditional TV, to a PC, to a smartphone, to a tablet, and now, Google Glass, now it is a reality to watch TV through any device and for content to become accessible from any given place.

Coronation ceremonies commence at 0930 CET and will be televised on RTVE.

To view the ceremony on Google Glass, install RTVE for Glass from droide.rs/coronation.

This video shows the content you can access from now on #throughGlass

When talking IoT we often focus on the devices, the sensors, the hardware itself. The new smart appliances, the new smart or self-driving cars (which are amalgamations of many ‘things'). When we are looking at the world of IoT, we should take a step back, look at the big picture. What value are these devices providing. IoT is not about the devices, its about the data consumed and generated. The devices are tools, mechanisms, conduits. This paper discusses the considerations when dealing with the...

If a machine can invent, does this mean the end of the patent system as we know it? The patent system, both in the US and Europe, allows companies to protect their inventions and helps foster innovation. However, Artificial Intelligence (AI) could be set to disrupt the patent system as we know it. This talk will examine how AI may change the patent landscape in the years to come. Furthermore, ways in which companies can best protect their AI related inventions will be examined from both a US and...
