Al-Jazeera Telecom Deploys Exalt for Gigabit Network Connectivity

Baghdad ISP Uses ExtremeAir Systems to Backhaul Internet Traffic on Key Network Segment

CAMPBELL, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 05/07/14 -- Exalt Communications, Inc., the leading innovator of next-generation wireless connectivity systems for private networks and Internet infrastructures, today announced that Al-Jazeera Telecom of Baghdad, Iraq has deployed Exalt ExtremeAir all-outdoor microwave backhaul systems to provide Gigabit per-second (Gbps) connectivity to its core Internet network.

The wireline and fiber infrastructure in Baghdad can be unreliable, but Exalt zero-footprint ExtremeAir systems deliver Gigabit-speed connectivity with high reliability and security. The Exalt systems extend 35 kilometers, unifying a key segment of Al Jazeera's Internet network.
