NEUHAUSEN, Germany, November 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Gebauer Medizintechnik GmbH announces that it will take over direction of its worldwide sales and distribution for its EpiVision product line. The Gebauer EpiVision System is an ophthalmic surgical instrument for Epi-LASIK and Advanced Surface Ablation Procedures, which was previously marketed exclusively through CooperVision Surgical.
The managing director, Steffen Gebauer, said "Directing our sales and distribution in-house brings us much closer to our distribution partners and more importantly our customers. We will be in a strong position to provide direct, efficient and faster customer service. This strategic move will boost our market share and enhance our market presence. "
The company is also eager to work with the existing EpiVision distribution network to improve and further develop their solid work of past years.
During the past 28 years, Gebauer has gained a wealth of experience in turning new technology ideas into fully developed products that deliver superior and affordable performance. A privately held company based in Neuhausen, Germany, Gebauer brings precision engineering design, component integration, electronics development, software creation and the highest level of quality assurance to its entire medical device manufacturing.
The Gebauer EpiVision[TM] System with MicronEdge[TM] Separator is the technologically leading product for Epi-LASIK and Advanced Surface Ablation procedures.
