SevOne Skyrockets to Forbes Top-50 List for America's Most Promising Companies

SevOne, the leader in providing scalable performance monitoring solutions to the world’s most connected companies, today announced that it has been selected by Forbes for the third annual list of America's Most Promising Companies (AMPC).

The honor was awarded on the basis of SevOne's compelling business model, rate of growth, market opportunity, margins, management team, customers, partners, and investors. On the Forbes top-100 list of privately-held, high-growth companies, SevOne ranked number 33.

"We are gratified by the recognition from Forbes and believe the award reflects the success of our unique approach to providing performance visibility into network and data center infrastructures," said SevOne CEO Jack Sweeney. "Our patented SevOne Cluster™ Architecture, the resources we've dedicated to supporting scalability in performance monitoring, and the customer footprint we've built up across multiple industries have all contributed to our ability to serve a market that will only continue to grow. We are in an outstanding position to expand our business through 2014 and beyond."

By many metrics, SevOne has already proven its success in performance monitoring. Since closing a $150 million funding round with Bain Capital in early 2013, the company has had three consecutive record-setting quarters. SevOne has also averaged 65 percent year-over-year growth each of the past three years, and has seen 85 percent year-over-year growth within its existing customer base. Customers include many of the world's largest financial institutions, cable and telecom operators, software enterprises, and pharmaceutical companies.

Recently, SevOne also received a critical patent for the distributed architecture technology underlying its performance monitoring solutions.

We are seeing a major migration of enterprises applications to the cloud. As cloud and business use of real time applications accelerate, legacy networks are no longer able to architecturally support cloud adoption and deliver the performance and security required by highly distributed enterprises. These outdated solutions have become more costly and complicated to implement, install, manage, and maintain.SD-WAN offers unlimited capabilities for accessing the benefits of the cloud and Internet. ...
The deluge of IoT sensor data collected from connected devices and the powerful AI required to make that data actionable are giving rise to a hybrid ecosystem in which cloud, on-prem and edge processes become interweaved. Attendees will learn how emerging composable infrastructure solutions deliver the adaptive architecture needed to manage this new data reality. Machine learning algorithms can better anticipate data storms and automate resources to support surges, including fully scalable GPU-c...

Machine learning has taken residence at our cities' cores and now we can finally have "smart cities." Cities are a collection of buildings made to provide the structure and safety necessary for people to function, create and survive. Buildings are a pool of ever-changing performance data from large automated systems such as heating and cooling to the people that live and work within them. Through machine learning, buildings can optimize performance, reduce costs, and improve occupant comfort by ...

Poor data quality and analytics drive down business value. In fact, Gartner estimated that the average financial impact of poor data quality on organizations is $9.7 million per year. But bad data is much more than a cost center. By eroding trust in information, analytics and the business decisions based on these, it is a serious impediment to digital transformation.
