Engadget Unveils the 2014 Best of CES Award Winners

As International CES® 2014 comes to a close, editors at leading technology news outlet Engadget present this year’s official “Best of CES” award winners. From best health and fitness devices to the most kid-friendly technology, Engadget’s editors scoured the show floor for products making their debut at CES, choosing 14 winners based on level of innovation, quality of design, overall efficiency and market demand. Rounding out the editors’ selections is The People’s Choice Award, honoring the product that won over the most hearts and minds in the Engadget community of technology fans.

Along with widespread coverage across Engadget’s networks, winners were awarded a custom-designed, 3D-printed trophy from 3D Systems on the Engadget stage during the final ceremonies, broadcasted live on Engadget.com, HuffPost Live and AOL.com.

Winners of the International CES® 2014 “Best of CES” awards include:

“There's no place like CES to get fully immersed in what we love— innovative consumer electronics and the science behind them,” said Marc Perton, executive editor, Engadget. “After countless demos and deliberations, our team fully believes that in our first year presenting this list of winners, we're shining a spotlight on CES’s most promising products.”

The Best of CES Awards Program started approximately 10 years ago to celebrate the innovation and noteworthy products on display at the International CES each year.
