Sprylogics announces launch of Poynt-Enabled mobile search capabilities for Nimbuzz

Combines Innovative "Search and Share" Adoption by a Major Messaging App with Monetization Model

TORONTO, Canada and New Delhi, India, Dec. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ - Sprylogics International Corp. ("Sprylogics") (TSXV: SPY), a technology provider of local mobile search and messaging solutions for consumers and businesses, and Nimbuzz (www.nimbuzz.com), a global leader in mobile messaging with over 150 million users, are pleased to announce the availability of a major enhancement to the Nimbuzz App, via the integration of the Sprylogics Poynt-Enabled Search and Share technology.

With this new Nimbuzz update, users will be able to search and share videos, movies, restaurants, places, events with their friends and loved ones, all without leaving the conversation, and via a simple "swipe and share" gesture. These new in-app enhancements are easy and simple to use, because they have been seamlessly integrated within the existing user experience.

This marks a groundbreaking introduction of "Search and Share" functionality by a major mobile messaging App inside the messaging experience. Mobile Local Search is all about speed and convenience. Smartphone owners are searching a lot more from their mobile devices. According to industry research, active users conduct more than 60 mobile searches per month, but they don't want to leave the conversation to initiate a search, especially when they have an intent to act upon, based on the results of the search, such as going to see a movie, meeting at a restaurant, or attending an event with friends.

"We are very excited to introduce these new capabilities to our loyal users, as we continue to innovate with new services that enrich and deepen the chat messaging experience," says Joby Babu, Chief of Operations, Nimbuzz. "This partnership with Sprylogics is lined-up with our goal to bring the best communications experience on mobile for our global users."

"We are delighted to partner with Nimbuzz who is a global innovator in mobile messaging communications," says Marvin Igelman, CEO of Sprylogics. "It validates our strategy to partner with innovative mobile Apps and bring seamless integrated mobile search and share functionality along with the potential to monetize these actions."

Sprylogics aggregates content that ranges across the most commonly used searched subjects (video, restaurants, movies, coupons, events, businesses, people, weather), enabling users to discover, view, discuss, share movies, restaurants, videos, make reservations, find the lowest gas prices, save with local offers, book events, add to their calendar, without leaving the messaging or mobile app.

Nimbuzz users can download or update their Nimbuzz app via this link.

Digital Transformation is much more than a buzzword. The radical shift to digital mechanisms for almost every process is evident across all industries and verticals. This is often especially true in financial services, where the legacy environment is many times unable to keep up with the rapidly shifting demands of the consumer. The constant pressure to provide complete, omnichannel delivery of customer-facing solutions to meet both regulatory and customer demands is putting enormous pressure on...
IoT is rapidly becoming mainstream as more and more investments are made into the platforms and technology. As this movement continues to expand and gain momentum it creates a massive wall of noise that can be difficult to sift through. Unfortunately, this inevitably makes IoT less approachable for people to get started with and can hamper efforts to integrate this key technology into your own portfolio. There are so many connected products already in place today with many hundreds more on the h...
The standardization of container runtimes and images has sparked the creation of an almost overwhelming number of new open source projects that build on and otherwise work with these specifications. Of course, there's Kubernetes, which orchestrates and manages collections of containers. It was one of the first and best-known examples of projects that make containers truly useful for production use. However, more recently, the container ecosystem has truly exploded.
