MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/19/13 -- Enterprise-mobility and mobile-SI company AgreeYa Mobility announced today that it has secured new funding from Saama Capital. The additional financing will help AgreeYa Mobility expand market share for its enterprise mobility product, Onvelop, reaching companies using Microsoft products including Office 365, SharePoint and Lync.
Onvelop enables companies running these platforms to adopt enterprise mobility and Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) policies for Android, iOS and Windows devices. AgreeYa Mobility also recently announced a partnership with the newly launched Samsung platform for enterprises, Samsung Knox.
"Onvelop is an important solution in the enterprise marketplace that tackles a significant issue for large corporations with a tech-enabled workforce," said Suresh Shanmugham, managing partner, Saama Capital. "AgreeYa Mobility's partnerships with Samsung, Microsoft and Vodafone are great indicators of the opportunities that lie ahead for the company. We're looking forward to being an active contributor in the next stage of AgreeYa Mobility's growth."
Founded in 2011, AgreeYa Mobility is already a leading mobile SI organization for the largest OEMs, chipset manufacturers, operators and enterprises around the world.
"This funding strengthens our efforts toward bringing Onvelop to market and presenting enterprises with critical tools to manage their mobility and BYOD initiatives," says Krish Kupathil, CEO of AgreeYa Mobility.
Onvelop was released in early 2013, following a partnership AgreeYa Mobility developed with Microsoft in November 2011. The agreement made AgreeYa Mobility an interoperability partner with Microsoft on its server-side products like SharePoint, Lync, RDP and Print. AgreeYa Mobility also announced a partnership with Windows Azure targeted at operators resulting in the Onvelop Cloud Platform, which unifies various partners and integrates with operators' billing platforms; and an OEM partnership with Samsung on the Android platform. Late last year, Vodafone started distributing Onvelop to its enterprise customers through its Vodafone Business Place.
Onvelop connects seamlessly to Office 365, SharePoint and Lync and extends the investments large and SME organizations have made in Microsoft technologies by allowing them to adopt enterprise mobility and BYOD. Onvelop licenses include a web-based portal that allows the IT admin to control devices and individual Onvelop user licenses. Onvelop guarantees enterprise-level security for all enterprise data.
The details of the funding by Saama Capital were not disclosed.
