CTPartners Executive Search Inc., (NYSE MKT:CTP) a leading global retained executive search firm, announced today that Dayton Ogden will lead a new initiative, CTGrowth Partners, a recently established division of CTPartners focusing on executive search for high growth companies, typically venture capital or private-equity backed. He will be based in Silicon Valley.
Mr. Ogden was formerly one of the co-founders of Fortis Partners, where his search practice focused on high-growth, venture or private-equity backed technology companies and placing general partners with both venture capital and private-equity firms. Before co-founding Fortis, he was with Spencer Stuart where he executed senior-level searches for emerging technology and media companies, as well as Fortune 500 companies. Prior to his career in executive search, Mr. Ogden was one of the first employees at SoBe Beverage, Co., helping the start-up to grow to over $60 million before it was acquired by PepsiCo.
Brian Sullivan, Chief Executive Officer of CTPartners said, “Small, high-growth companies typically require a different involvement with their search partners due to the uniqueness of the candidate population. Dayton has excelled at this and is one of the top Silicon Valley search professionals. We are pleased to have him head CTGrowth Partners.”
Mr. Ogden said, “Leading an initiative within CTPartners, which has a history of working closely with venture capital and high growth companies, is a unique opportunity. More and more we are seeking a candidate population that is at a national and international level. CTPartners’ global platform taps into this pool of candidates for our clients.”
