"It's a very exciting and challenging opportunity for me to join a team with a foothold already in the online world, and lend my expertise in bringing the studio's capacities to higher productivity and efficiency", commented Miguel Caron. "Throughout my career I've had the chance to work on compelling games with creative and dedicated teams and I'm enthusiastic to carry on with projects such as Star Citizen, and opening new doors for Behaviour in the massively multiplayer, persistent worlds segment", he concluded.
In his previous role as Chief Executive Officer of Funcom Games Canada, he founded the Montreal studio and subsequently grew it to over two hundred employees in less than two years, while operating three live MMO projects, Age of Conan, Anarchy Online and Pets vs Monsters, and launching a fourth one, The Secret World. His tenure included the founding and building of a new mobile and casual division for Funcom, based in their Montreal office.
Mr. Caron has consistently driven profitable double-digit growth for companies like Lyrtech, NoWire Telecom and BCM International. He was the recipient of the prestigious "Best Young Quebec Entrepreneur" award and finalist for "Tech CEO of the Year" in Quebec.
