CALGARY, Alberta, March 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- WiMacTel, an independent nationwide telecommunications company in the USA and Canada announced they are partnering with Lattice (LTTC) for Inmate Telecom Technology.
WiMacTel, a nationwide provider of inmate telephone systems, payphones, operator services, directory assistance and long distance calling cards and plans, announced today that they are partnering with Lattice as the foundation for their Inmate Connect Manager.
WiMacTel was the original developer of the Millennium Inmate telephone system while it was a division of Nortel. The Millennium Inmate system was deployed at Federal and Provincial corrections institutions across Canada. Lattice provides call management technology for high security installations including correctional facilities and key government agencies.
