“Together we will separate the hype from reality and deliver the true SDN benefits of agility, operational simplicity and cost savings to our mutual customers,” said Dante Malagrinò (pictured), Embrane’s co-founder and chief executive officer, as SDN leader Embrane announced a strategic partnership with World Wide Technology, Inc. (WWT), a market-leading systems integrator.
“WWT is one of the largest and most respected systems integrators in the industry, and we are excited to be working closely with them to solve real-world problems around network agility and automation,” Malagrinò added.
Specializing in the latest technology advancements, WWT is partnering with Embrane to deliver software-defined network services to enterprises building agile data centers, including public, private and hybrid cloud environments. WWT is demonstrating Embrane’s SDN solutions in its executive briefing centers, and joint selling is underway.
“Our customers appreciate that we stay at the forefront of significant trends and technology shifts, and we believe software-defined networking is becoming an important area of investment in the enterprise data center,” said Bob Olwig, vice president of business strategy with WWT. “Embrane has taken an innovative approach to solving the network agility problem that our customers are facing today, and we are committed to working together to lead the charge on SDN.”
Embrane joins WWT’s robust ecosystem of partners, vendors and service providers, which includes Cisco, Citrix, EMC, HP, NetApp and VMware, among others.
