Affordable innovation is key in helping IT leaders overcome future challenges
Socitm, a public sector society for IT professionals, will be hosting a 'Future Challenges for Leaders' conference this week (Friday 8 March). Sally Fuller, Kcom's Director of Strategic Propositions, will be there to talk about some of the technology game changers that will support new ways of communicating and collaborating.
At the event a range of challenges, which are often faced by organisations and their IT teams, will be examined, such as mobile working and application integration.
Kcom, part of the KCOM Group, understands the trends that are going to affect our workplaces in the future and how, with the current state of the economy, IT decision makers often need to find ways of being innovative within a limited budget.
To help organisations better prepare themselves for what is to come, Kcom recently launched a new suite of utility based managed communication services. It provides organisations with the opportunity to develop a clear roadmap to transform their business collaboration capabilities, whilst overcoming many of the barriers associated with investing in new capital intensive on premise based technology.
This is an event for Socitm members in the South West region; four events are held per year in this region and this is one of them.
