Voice Communication Exchange Committee (VCXC) announces the Start! Campaign recognizing the historic importance of the telecom industry transition to all-IP networks. The Start! Campaign includes IP transition briefings, beta testing, and capturing video testimonials as well as plans for a reference system demonstrating the benefits of all-IP networks and HD voice. The Start! Campaign demonstration center gives industry a means to showcase the future of communication through direct hands-on experience.
The campaign culminates at the Start! Forum in Washington, DC on June 7, 2013.
VCXC serves as the leading proponent of all-IP telco's and HD voice following the leadership example of the Advisory Committee for Advanced Television Service in the HDTV transition. The clock started for a six year all hands on deck HD telecom transition at the VCXC IP Transition as Grand Challenge event on June 15, 2012.
The growing portion of the communicating public favoring Internet-enabled options over plain old telephone service got the transition to all-IP networks started. The VCXC Start! Campaign speeds the transition to all-IP networks by facilitating industry dialogue and working to directly engage the public in the historic transformation of telecommunications.

“The communicating public sets the pace and represents the final arbiter of policy questions arising from the adoption of all-IP networks," said Daniel Berninger, founder, VCXC. “VCXC's Start! Campaign offers direct experience with HD voice and new IP communication services as well as documents the stories of the people shaping the new communication landscape."
