BEIJING and DALLAS, March 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- NQ Mobile (NYSE: NQ), a leading global provider of mobile Internet services today announced that America Movil (NYSE: AMX), Latin America's leading telecom group in terms of equity subscribers, will offer NQ Mobile's flagship products: NQ Mobile Security™, NQ Mobile Vault™ and NQ Family Guardian™ to its 262 million subscribers located in 18 countries, including Mexico and Latin America.
The first services provided by NQ Mobile will be mobile security, offered in Mexico through Telcel as Seguridad Movil Telcel. With some 68 million subscribers, Telcel is Mexico's leading mobile provider as well as the largest of America Movil's carriers. These new offerings will be actively promoted and sold by Telcel through various channels including, direct-to-consumer marketing such as SMS mailings, online promotions, an outbound call center and pre-load on devices. Seguridad Movil Telcel will be available soon. Continuing through the year, America Movil will expand the NQ Mobile product line across all its carrier brands, including Telcel and Claro, into 18 Latin American countries.
