CALGARY, Alberta, March 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- WiMacTel, a nationwide provider of inmate telecom services, pay phones, long distance calling plans and operator services, announced today that they are partnering with Bell Canada for their CoLocation service requirements.
James MacKenzie, CEO of WiMacTel commented that, "We had outgrown our current CoLocation facility and with our continued expansion and flexibility requirements we were faced with a build or outsource decision. Bell Canada proved to us that they could meet our growing space requirements and most importantly that they had the ability to react quickly to our changing needs. This agreement with Bell allows us to focus our intellectual property and creativity on growing the business. We will drive the continued advancement of our flexible low cost network, call center and technology towards our target markets across the USA and Canada providing fully featured inmate telecom services, pay phones, long distance calling plans and life cycle operator services."
John Wilson, WiMacTel's Chief Technology Officer stated, "Bell was able to provide services that supported all of our data center needs. WiMacTel requires very unique services due to our need to support both state of the art and old telecommunications technologies that are needed to support legacy voice services at the lowest possible cost while also delivering new features."
