PORTLAND, OR and LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - February 27, 2013) - Integra Telecom Inc., a provider of fiber-based, enterprise-grade networking, communications and technology solutions, has unveiled its new brand identity. Formerly known as Integra Telecom, the company introduces itself simply as "Integra" along with a new logo and corporate tagline: "Technology you trust. People you know."
"The past eighteen months represent a meaningful evolution in Integra's business strategy. We are now better positioned than ever to address the needs of larger business customers, taking full advantage of our newly expanded product portfolio and robust network assets, as demonstrated by recent business results," said Joe Harding, Integra's senior vice president of marketing. "Our new brand identity reflects this evolution, while also serving to reinforce what has been a core principle of this business from the very start: our commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience characterized by a more personalized and responsive service model."
The company's rebranding follows a transformative year for the service provider. To better serve the needs of enterprise customers, Integra launched a record number of new products in 2012 while expanding the reach of its fiber optic and metro Ethernet network footprint. The company's finances have improved under a strengthened leadership team, affirmed by the recent addition of Searchlight Capital as primary equity partner. With this positive momentum, the time is right for the company's brand to reflect the Integra of today.
The evolved brand emerges from an in-depth process of research and discovery, strategic planning and creative execution. The new Integra logo incorporates intertwined loops with infinite connections, symbolizing Integra's principal goal to deliver customer value with every connection and a never-ending commitment to driving continuous improvement. The colors and typeface represent the core values of service, accountability, agility and integrity for which Integra stands. In removing "Telecom" from its brand name, Integra sheds a too-narrow definition of the solutions it provides its customers, while retaining the highly valued reputation of the Integra name. The tagline "Technology you trust. People you know." represents Integra's comprehensive portfolio of network-enabled solutions delivered by a team of experts committed to the highest levels of personalized customer service.
"This is the first significant change to the Integra brand since Integra's original launch in 1998. Our business model has evolved considerably from where we were then," said Harding. "We couldn't be more pleased with the results of our efforts and the response from our employees. We measure our value through the eyes of our customer, and I believe our enterprise, wholesale and small business customers, as well as our employees who serve them, will find that the new brand clearly articulates our brand promise and what we stand for."
First unveiled for audiences at the 2013 Channel Partners exhibition in Las Vegas, the new Integra brand identity may be experienced on an updated corporate website. Updates to facilities, signage and other brand touch points are also underway and will continue throughout 2013.
