CHICAGO, Feb. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Telecom Brokerage, Inc. (TBI), a master agent of telecommunications, recently received CenturyLink's Million Dollar Reward at the company's 2013 AllianceEXPO. The program awards $1 million to any agent that grows their business with CenturyLink by $2 million a month during the five year-period beginning July 1, 2010. TBI accomplished the goal in half the time.
TBI's President, Geoff Shepstone, accepted a $1 million check during the awards dinner at AllianceEXPO along with TBI's staff while a parade of balloons was dropped above.
"TBI had a record year in 2011, but far surpassed that record in 2012," said CenturyLink Channel Alliance Vice President of Sales, Blake Wetzel. Wetzel said TBI had six deals that were more than $100,000 per month in revenue and last year sold the third largest and the largest deals in Channel Alliance history.
Shepstone said that the award is a definitive honor for TBI, but also a validation of this channel. Shepstone even offered to mentor CenturyLink agents looking to grow their businesses. Shepstone parted with these words, "if we can do it, you can do it."
Aside from the MillionDollar Reward, TBI earned awards for Top Large Deal, Highest Revenue Growth and Highest Sales attainment for 2012.
"Last year is a terrific platform to start on for the year of 2013," said Shepstone. "With all this energy and momentum, TBI is projected to top their previous performance."
