Specialty risk management company Assurant Solutions is among the
finalists in the seventh annual Stevie® Awards for Sales & Customer
Service. The company’s Mobile Services business is a contender in the
“Innovation in Customer Service” category for its “Mobile Triage”
technical support solution. Assurant Solutions senior operations manager
Elizabeth Conner is a finalist in the “Contact Center Manager of the
Year” category for leading a smooth operational transition while
improving key metrics including Net Promoter Scores.
“We're honored to have been selected as a finalist for two Stevie Awards
once again this year,” said Craig Lemasters, president and CEO of
Assurant Solutions. “It’s especially meaningful to be recognized for our
commitment to a positive customer experience, as this is something
that’s so important to us.”
Mobile Triage Finalist
The Mobile Triage solution is being recognized for providing consumers
with the ability to troubleshoot and repair common problems with their
mobile devices, including identifying and uninstalling malware apps. It
also features a mobile client that detects pending problems and offers
proactive alerts so action can be taken before problems emerge.
“Staying ahead of consumer demand is very important to our Mobile
Services business. Today's consumer expects uninterrupted service, and
Mobile Triage helps people stay connected even when issues arise," said
Manny Becerra, president of the Assurant Solutions Mobile Services
business. "I'm pleased that the Stevie Awards is recognizing our
commitment to delivering the kind of customer experience that reflects
well on our carrier clients.”
Customer Contact Manager of the Year
Elizabeth Conner, nominated as a finalist for Contact Center Manager of
the Year, oversees more than 100 staff who handle more than 600,000
calls each year for the company’s Extended Protection Solutions
business. Her team helped implement a web-based self service solution
for customers that improved customer engagement and increased sales.
“Our contact centers provide world-class customer service for our
clients’ most valuable resource – their customers,” said Jeff
Unterreiner, senior vice president of the Assurant Solutions Extended
Protection Solutions business. “Our contact centers have implemented a
number of innovative, consumer-focused programs such as the service
contract industry’s first mobile application and development of
customizable, fully featured web solutions for customer self service.
Liz and her team certainly deserve recognition for the work they do
every day to satisfy our customers.”
This is the company’s second time as a finalist in the “Innovation in
Customer Service” category. The company was awarded a Stevie in 2011 for
its patented Real Time Analytics Matching platform technology that made
it possible to pinpoint the call center agent best suited to handle an
inbound customer's call.
More than 1,100 entries from organizations worldwide were submitted for
this year's Stevie Awards, which are recognized as the world's premier
business awards for sales, contact center and customer service
professionals.
The final results will be announced during a gala banquet on Monday,
February 25 at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. Finalists from the
United States and several other nations are expected to attend.
