The HDBaseT Alliance (ISE 2013 Hall 7, Booth #7C171), a consortium working to establish HDBaseT technology as the standard for HD digital connectivity, at the 2013 Integrated Systems Europe conference next week will demonstrate new HDBaseT-enabled projectors, displays and other multimedia devices that professional installers and systems integrators will be able to provide to their customers in 2013. The HDBaseT Alliance will also lead a panel discussion made up of Alliance members and industry experts who will discuss their views on the state of the industry and recent HDBaseT developments in the Pro- AV and consumer markets.
HDBaseT technology enables the delivery of uncompressed high definition video, audio, Internet, controls and power over a single cat5e/6 cable.
“The HDBaseT Alliance will leverage ISE 2013 to show the progress it has made in just the past year in terms of welcoming new member companies and greatly expanding the HDBaseT product line-up,” said Ariel Sobelman, president, HDBaseT Alliance. “The HDBaseT product ecosystem features a variety of projectors and displays with embedded HDBaseT technology from leading manufacturers. Professional A/V installers and systems integrators will be able to see first-hand the products that will be available in 2013.”
An HDBaseT-Connected World
The HDBaseT World Experience at ISE 2013 (Hall 7, Booth #7C171) will provide attendees with the opportunity to examine a large selection of new HDBaseT-enabled products from several Alliance members including Atlona, Belkin, Crestron Electronics, Emcore, Gefen, HD connectivity, Kordz, Kramer, Orion, projectiondesign, Silver Telecom and Wyrestorm. Attendees will learn how HDBaseT has become a global HD digital connectivity standard in response to industry demand for converged distribution of HD multimedia content and the lack of adequate existing technologies.
Founded in 2010 by LG Electronics, Samsung Electronics, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Valens, the HDBaseT Alliance promotes HDBaseT technology for whole-home and commercial multimedia distribution.
