ROLLING MEADOWS, IL -- (Marketwire) -- 01/17/13 -- Charles Industries, Ltd. today announced that Terri Taylor has joined the company as National Sales Manager serving CenturyLink. With more than 14 years of sales, marketing, business development and distribution channel experience, Taylor will lead the Sales Team to expand account relationships, identify emerging application opportunities, and support and grow Charles' longstanding supplier partnership with CenturyLink.
For the past six years, Taylor held various positions with Corning Cable Systems' Telecommunications Group. Most recently, Taylor was Channel Manager, Carrier Networks, where she was responsible for the creation, implementation, and management of Corning's distribution strategies for KGP Logistics, Graybar, and Power & Telephone Supply Company in support of carrier service providers including CenturyLink. As Regional Sales Manager, Carrier Networks, Taylor managed distributors to market products and services including eight CenturyLink Greenlight projects. Upon joining Corning, Taylor held the position of Account Manager, Embarq Logistics (KGP Logistics), in which she managed Embarq Fiber Cable and Optical Hardware sales strategy through Embarq Logistics.
Prior to Corning, Taylor held various sales related positions including Business Development Consultant, Health Essential/Team National; Manager, North America Sales & Marketing, American Academy of Family Physicians; and Account Director, Vascular Access Devices.

Terri Taylor earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Rockhurst University, Kansas City, Missouri, and has completed the Leadership Development Program at the Center for Creative Leadership in North Carolina and programs in Territory Planning and Management from ACCLIVUS R3 Solutions. She will serve the CenturyLink account from her Olathe, Kansas office.
