Jinni announced today that French telecom operator Bouygues Telecom has signed an agreement to license Jinni’s unique and advanced content discovery solution. The Jinni technology will power a superior user experience with semantic search, browse by mood, and other intuitive discovery features. The service will be offered in French and includes discovery of both international and local French TV series and movies. Bouygues Telecom is leading the French TV market by being the first to offer content discovery to suit users’ personal tastes and moods.
Bouygues Telecom subscribers will be able to find what to watch by plots (e.g. criminal heroes, nothing goes right, fall in love, dishonesty…), moods (e.g. feel good, suspenseful, clever, sincere…), times and periods, places, audiences, styles, and awards.
