LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/14/13 -- Wilcon announced today that Eric Bender, Senior Vice President & Co-Founder of the company, has been elected to the Pacific Telecommunications Advisory Council. Bender will join the Council as a for-profit representative for North America and, along with ten other newly elected Advisory Council members, will serve a four-year term beginning January 2013. PTC announced the certified results of the Board of Governors and Advisory Council elections on November 12, 2012.

The Advisory Council is comprised of both elected members and Board of Governors appointees. The mission of the Advisory Council is to provide valuable knowledge and industry experience to help guide the council's work and progress.
Mr. Bender brings years of experience in both the telecom and real estate industries to the PTC Advisory Council. He cofounded Wilcon in 1998 and previously served as its President. Mr. Bender was also the Vice President of Operations of Global Gateway, a developer of carrier hotels and data centers in Asia and the western United States. He has served as the Vice President of Asset Management at Downtown Properties/Mas Asset Management Corp., a $1.3 billion real estate portfolio.
Mr. Bender will begin his duties as a PTC Advisory Council member at PTC '13, an annual Asia-Pacific telecommunications conference that takes place from January 20th to 23rd in Honolulu, HI.
