INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- (Marketwire) -- 01/08/13 -- The Center for Telecom Environment Management Standards (CTEMS®) is pleased to announce the addition of four (4) members to its board of directors. The new additions, two (2) representing enterprises and two (2) representing suppliers, expand the CTEMS® Board of Directors to 11 members.
"I am excited to welcome new board members for the 2013-2014 term. Their individual qualifications and experiences are a great asset to the entire CTEMS® membership," said Timothy C. Colwell, Executive Director.
The new board members are:
Caroline L. Terrell, Senior Telecom Specialist at QVC, Inc., brings over 25 years of telecom industry experience. Caroline currently manages mobile devices as well as fixed and wireless telecom budgets for domestic U.S. operations.
David Chalmers, Chief Strategy Officer at Validas LLC, has 15 years of experience in the wireless telecom industry. With stewardship in the ecosystem of operator challenges and enterprise intelligence, David's current executive responsibilities include corporate strategy, partner development and growth models within big data and analytics.
Rick Desjardins, Technology Director Americas at GTECH Corporation, brings more than 30 years of experience in domestic and international telecommunications. Rick's current responsibilities include the management of carrier and telecom industry technology, in addition to carrier relations and contracts.
Leo Berz, Director of Professional Services Telecom at Ecova, has over 35 years of experience in the telecom industry with domain expertise across a wide range of network technology, telecom procurement and expense management disciplines. Leo's current responsibilities include assisting clients with telecom environment management and continuing to improve the Ecova Telecom Lifecycle Management offering.
