HELSINKI, December 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
GTS Central Europe, a leading provider of integrated telecommunications solutions and data center services throughout the Central and Eastern European region, implemented BaseN's Performance Monitoring for Virtual Hosting Service. BaseN, an international measurement service provider, proved to be a valuable asset in making the GTS Virtual Hosting a robust, enterprise-class computing solution.
GTS Virtual Hosting enables organizations to outsource installation and maintenance of server equipment. The offering allows customers to purchase computing units that fit to current customer needs and can easily scale for future requirements. Customers can either use single Virtual Private Servers (VPS) or a whole Virtual Hosting Environment (VHE) receiving equivalent of a private data center consisting of a pool of virtual computing resources.
"The virtual environments need to be equipped with accurate and timely view of their performance to build solid customer trust. The monitoring solution highlights GTS commitments and helps us to deliver on demanding expectations of our national businesses as well as large multinational customers. We are glad that BaseN fits in with our mission to develop innovative solutions for our customers," says Marcin Kotlarski, Product Development Director at GTS.
BaseN Performance Monitoring have been already successfully used for other GTS services, such as IP VPN and Ethernet lines, so it was a natural step to extend the BaseN monitoring capabilities to the Virtual Hosting services. GTS end customers using several GTS services will benefit from familiar layout of the management portal to supervise their data center and telecommunication solutions.
