GSMA wählt neue Vorstandsmitglieder und bestätigt Vorsitzenden Franco Bernabe im Amt

- GSMA ernennt 26-köpfigen Vorstand mit Amtszeit vom Januar 2013 bis Dezember 2014

LONDON, 13. Dezember 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Die GSMA gab heute die Wahl der neuen Mitglieder ihres Vorstands für die zweijährige Amtszeit vom Januar 2013 bis Ende Dezember 2014 bekannt. Außerdem bestätigte die GSMA Franco Bernabe, den Vorsitzenden und CEO der Telecom Italia Group, als ihren Vorsitzenden und Jon Fredrik Baksaas, den Präsident und CEO der Telenor Group, als stellvertretenden Vorsitzenden für eine zweite Periode in ihren Ämtern. Bernabe dient seit Januar 2011 als Vorsitzender der GSMA und leitet die strategische Ausrichtung der Organisation, die 800 Mobilnetzbetreiber aus aller Welt sowie über 230 Unternehmen aus dem breiteren Ökosystem der Mobilfunkbranche repräsentiert. Baksaas hat das Amt des stellvertretenden Vorsitzenden ebenfalls seit Januar 2011 inne.
