A-list performance marks the announcement of the five-year mPowering Mobile Platform, a groundbreaking program designed to encourage youth to define and share the global issues that are most important to them using mobile technology.

The mPowering Mobile Platform and mobile app will officially launch at a 2013 Grammy Week event, and will enable youth around the world to submit stories about their world, the issues most important to them, and gain access to organizations in their regions relevant to the issues they care about most. In short—mobile technology will become a passport for youth to make a difference on a global scale – one action at a time.

Some of the first digital content on the mobile application will include songs recorded at the concert, as well as an exclusive track by Timbaland and Agnes Monica (a.k.a., AGNEZ MO). Timbaland and Monique Mosley will co-host the evening and share their inspirational stories about causes dear to them. The mobile application will continue to bring in new songs and artists as the mPowering Mobile Platform debuts at other events around the world.
