4 December 2012 - Cambium Networks, leading provider of wireless broadband solutions, today announced the appointment of Martin Lorenz as Regional Sales Manager in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Based in Germany, Lorenz brings with him 15 years' experience in the telecommunications industry driving revenues in business-to-business IT solutions.
The new role will see Lorenz develop and lead sales strategies within the region, build and maintain key relationships with customers, identify and engage new business opportunities and research the market and related products.
Commenting on the appointment Ian Bayly, VP EMEA Sales and Marketing at Cambium Networks, said: "Having talented individuals like Martin is central to our success around the globe. Martin understands our business, the region and the telecoms industry, and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team. I am looking forward to seeing Martin continue to strengthen our presence across Europe."
Lorenz has extensive experience within the industry, joining Cambium from Motorola Solutions. Previously Lorenz held senior positions at companies including Ericsson, Damovo Deutschland, Arcor AG (Vodafone plc) and Freecom.
