CHENNAI and MUMBAI, December 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ --
Plans to Recruit 150 People for its Mumbai Operations in FY13; Strengthens its new Avatar of "Assurance Services Provider"
Maveric Systems, a leading provider of Assurance Services across the technology adoption lifecycle, has expanded its operations in Mumbai with the opening of a delivery centre in the city. Located in Andheri East, Mumbai, this will be the company's second delivery centre in the country, the first being in Chennai. The company plans to recruit close to 150 people in FY 13 for its Mumbai operations. (Maveric currently has about 80 employees in Mumbai and a total headcount of 800.)
A leading global independent software testing specialist, Maveric recently (October 2012) unveiled its new corporate positioning - "Assurance Services Provider". Moving up the value chain, Maveric is now focusing on 'defect prevention' apart from 'defect detection' (Software Testing) and partnering its clients across the entire IT adoption lifecycle. In its new avatar, Maveric offers Testing and Assurance Services for the BFSI and Telecom vertical. With its enhanced services portfolio comprising Program Assurance, Process Assurance and Application Assurance services, the company is gearing up to tap the global Assurance market which is estimated to be about USD 39 billion.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ranga Reddy, CEO & Co-founder, Maveric Systems, said, "With significant client wins in Mumbai, over the last one year, in the Banking and Insurance space, we are excited to build a strong local delivery team in the city. Maveric is targeting USD 14 million over the next 36 months from its new Assurance Services. Over the next 36 months, the new services lines are expected to contribute about 30% of the company's overall topline. Software Testing will continue to be Maveric's base, amounting to 70% of its revenue.
