MARKHAM, ONTARIO and STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN -- (Marketwire) -- 12/03/12 -- Enghouse Systems Limited (TSX:ESL) announced today it has acquired Albatross Scandinavia AB (Albatross).
Headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, Albatross offers a real-time, IN (Intelligent Network) platform that delivers voice and SMS routing products to telecom operators in nine countries. The solutions are provided via a managed services model and support a wide range of protocols and applications for traditional TDM, as well as next generation SIP, ENUM and IMS protocols.
"This acquisition is very complementary to Enghouse's Pulse Intelligent Network platform and rounds out the solution offering to include licensed on-premise, hosted and managed services delivery models to telecommunications operators around the world," stated Sunil Diaz, General Manager, Enghouse Networks Group.
