Datalogix, the leader at connecting digital media and offline purchasing data, announced today that it has been awarded a “Colorado First” Grant by the State. The Grant is earmarked for Colorado companies growing rapidly and investing heavily in the training and development of their workforces.
This prestigious grant award comes on the heels of two other honors granted to Datalogix in recent months.
Datalogix was selected as a finalist for “Best Companies to Work For in Colorado” for the second year in a row in August, and also was approved for the third largest job creation grant in Colorado’s history by the Colorado Economic Development Commission (EDC) in June. Datalogix expects to create more than 320 new jobs during the next five years in addition to the 100 new positions added in the last 12 months.
“Employee development and continuing education are central to the Datalogix success strategy,” said Heidi Wilcox, Dean of Datalogix’ in-house education program, “DLX U”. “Our industry moves at a rapid pace so it’s critical that we provide our employees with the tools and resources they need to not only keep up with the market but to stay in front of it.”
DLX U, available for free to all Datalogix employees, offers a curriculum of more than 100 classes a year. Courses range from leadership training to technical classes like “Fundamentals of Java” and most recently “Hadoop training.” Outside experts, such as Mike Byster, visit to teach courses with names like, “Think like a genius.”
“I’m extremely proud of our team at Datalogix, and the fact that the passion we bring to the work environment every day is being recognized by the state of Colorado,” said Eric Roza, CEO, Datalogix. “Our growth and this award are testaments to the quality of our current workforce and the opportunity in front of us.”
