SHANGHAI, Nov. 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- According to professional research and analysis on the telecom cloud market, the growth consulting company Frost & Sullivan held the award ceremony –Frost & Sullivan Best Practices Awards on November 13 and presented Huawei with "EXCELLENT TELECOM CLOUD SOLUTION PROVIDER OF THE YEAR". The rapid development of cloud market is really dramatic. According to the related data provided by Frost & Sullivan, the market size in 2011 approached to 11.4 billion US dollars worldwide, increasing by 20.4% compared to 2010. The market size is forecasted to be 14 billion US dollars in 2012. As the fastest growing segment, telecom cloud market size reached 3 billion US dollars, with an annual growth rate of 21.4%. Huawei provided Sinotrans, the largest Chinese integrated logistics company, with IT transformation and managed service with data center consolidation from 30 locations into 2 cloud-based data centers and reducing O&M personnel 64 to 4.
