SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- UBM Tech's InformationWeek was presented with two FOLIO awards in New York yesterday; FOLIO's 2012 Eddie and Ozzie Awards competition honors excellence in outstanding magazine editorial and design.
InformationWeek's editorial and design awards in the B-to-B category include:
- Ozzie: Best Cover, above 100,000 circulation (Gold) – InformationWeek's February 27 print cover illustration, "From CRM To Social," sets up a story on the challenges of integrating customer relationship management and social networking systems and data
- Eddie: Single Article, Technology/Computing/Telecom (Bronze) – InformationWeek's May 28 cover story "SAP Hype Vs. Oracle FUD," written by executive editor Doug Henschen, provides an extensive analysis of the database market faceoff between incumbent vendor Oracle and newcomer SAP
