HomeVestors Mobile App Gives Franchisees Real Time Ability to Evaluate Properties, Estimate Repair Costs

New ValueChek App Increases Home Buying Productivity

DALLAS, Nov. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- HomeVestors, also known as the We Buy Ugly Houses® company, is equipping its 260 franchise owners in 36 states with a mobile app that helps  them to accurately evaluate a property, develop a list of repairs that need to be made and accurately estimate the cost of repairs so that home purchase decisions can be made on the spot.

"Our franchisees spend 70 percent of their time on the go, evaluating houses all over their respective locations," says Ken Channell, co-president of HomeVestors. "In the fiercely competitive market of single family investment real estate, our franchisees need to be able to complete their due diligence research, make a home purchase decision and make an offer in minutes not hours or days."

The mobile app, called ValueChek, incorporates a national home improvement supplier to provide real time home repair costs to our HomeVestors® independently owned and operated  franchisees and was developed by Nitro Mobile Solutions a leading provider of enterprise mobile application solutions.

"Nitro demonstrated to us that they knew more than just mobile technology. They could connect our business and its historical  IT applications  and  Home Depot's website to a mobile app," said HomeVestor co-president Dave Hicks. "We expect that ValueChek will translate into increased productivity and efficiency, and help to ensure that we take advantage of opportunities we may be missing."

To Really Work for Enterprises, MultiCloud Adoption Requires Far Better and Inclusive Cloud Monitoring and Cost Management … But How? Overwhelmingly, even as enterprises have adopted cloud computing and are expanding to multi-cloud computing, IT leaders remain concerned about how to monitor, manage and control costs across hybrid and multi-cloud deployments. It’s clear that traditional IT monitoring and management approaches, designed after all for on-premises data centers, are falling short in ...
We are seeing a major migration of enterprises applications to the cloud. Machine learning has taken residence at our cities' cores and now we can finally have "smart cities." Cities are a collection of buildings made to provide the structure and safety necessary for people to function, create and survive. Buildings are a pool of ever-changing performance data from large automated systems such as heating and cooling to the people that live and work within them. Through machine learning, buildings can optimize performance, reduce costs, and improve occupant comfort by ...

Poor data quality and analytics drive down business value. In fact, Gartner estimated that the average financial impact of poor data quality on organizations is $9.7 million per year. But bad data is much more than a cost center. By eroding trust in information, analytics and the business decisions based on these, it is a serious impediment to digital transformation.
