NEW YORK, Nov. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- SATCON EXPO -- Antenna Technology Communications Inc. (ATCi), a provider of commercial satellite communications and teleport services, announced today from that Satcon Conference in New York that the Company is providing multiple cable TV and satellite channels with uplink disaster recovery services to ensure seamless, uninterrupted programming.
ATCi, originator of world-renowned Simulsat™ Multibeam antenna, expanded its satellite services division to include a platform focused solely on providing cost-effective digital broadcast solutions and disaster recovery services. ATCi's Southwest operations center is designed for flexibility while at the same time sitting in a storm free/earthquake free/hurricane free zone making it an ideal location as a back-up critical communication facility.
ATCi's satellite and teleport infrastructure provides an effective solution for delivering the most in-demand applications such as access to unlimited fiber capabilities, Internet Connectivity, Private Networks, 24 x 7 x 365 Monitoring, Backhaul, Internet/Data/Fiber Satellite Integration and VoIP services in catastrophic situations.
"Due to recent events in the east coast, the demand for disaster recovery service options and facilities is at an all time high," said Gary Hatch, CEO, ATCi. "Clearly unexpected disasters and localized telecom disruptions can occur any time causing major communication outages while the time it takes to restore the damages may be days or weeks leaves those needing to operate in the impacted area unable to access and deliver reliable communications," Hatch continued. "ATCi is pleased to have recently partnered with several Cable TV and Satellite Channels by providing them with our state-of-the art Southwest facility and services as a safe and reliable back-up for their important programming," Hatch concluded.
The Company is promoting its Disaster Recovery Services along with its other communications solutions and systems at the Satcon Conference in New York Booth #305.
