Saama Technologies, a leading pure-play business analytics services company in the industry, today announced that Anil Nair has joined the company as Vice President for Engineering and Solutions. In his new role, Anil will focus on developing and incubating intellectual property in the form of frameworks and solutions. Anil will report to Chief Strategy Officer, Sagar Anisingaraju.
Anil brings to Saama over seventeen years of experience in the software industry that spans a wide variety of roles from engineering to sales. Prior to Saama, Anil was part of the senior leadership team at the US division of Persistent Systems, where he played several roles including head of the Technology Solutions Group and Vice President of Strategic Accounts. Prior to Persistent, he was a core member of Exemplary Software, a HP Labs spin-off that had a cutting edge application generation and in-memory database technology. His experience includes creating database products, EAI frameworks, web based UI framework and applications in Banking, Life Sciences, Supply Chain and Telecom verticals.
