One of the largest and longest established mobile technology review websites in the UK is relaunching with a new name and expanding to cover emerging trends in consumer technology
Oxford, UK - 12 November 2012 Mobile Phones UK, one of the largest and longest established technology review websites in the UK with more than four million unique visitors and over 12 million page views last year, is relaunching as S21 (http://www.s21.com). In addition to publishing reviews of smartphones, tablets, mobile networks and mobile broadband, S21 is expanding to document emerging trends in the accelerating and converging world of consumer technology.
S21 already contains hundreds of expert reviews and more than 50,000 consumer reviews of cell phones and related technology. To mark the relaunch, S21 has published a series of articles looking at emerging trends in technology including 3D printing, artificial intelligence, self-driving cars and robots. The site will also soon cover the laptop, flatscreen TV, DVD, Blu-Ray, set-top box, cable TV and satellite markets.
Steve Morris, Managing Editor, S21.com comments: "When the site first launched in 2001, mobile phones were little more than bricks that made calls and sent texts. In the past 11 years, mobile phones have acquired colour displays, cameras, touch-screens and music players, and have merged with computers to spawn smartphones, tablets and broadband dongles. Today, the mobile telecoms industry is worth billions of dollars and is one of the fastest-growing industries on the planet.
"As the world of technology gets ever faster and more central to our lives, S21 will continue to bring honest, unbiased product reviews to its readers and to recommend the best products and online deals."
In addition to thousands of mobile phone and tablet reviews, S21 provides price comparisons for carefully selected retailers. Instead of the usual automated price comparisons, S21 selects the best deals from trusted retailers. As well as pay as you go and contract mobile phones, S21 also provides reviews of mobile broadband services from 3 Mobile, Orange, O2, T-Mobile and Vodafone, as well as a comparison of sim-only tariffs.
