Wireless Facilities, Inc. (WFI), a leader in advanced network technical services, announced today that it has acquired Telecommunications Contracting Company Inc. (TCCI) of Marlton, NJ. The acquisition will result in TCCI becoming a division of WFI. TCCI will retain its current brand in the marketplace.
The acquisition of TCCI continues to strengthen WFI’s self-performance capabilities, allowing the company to deepen its portfolio of services to address the exploding demand for cell-site technical services. Randy Gayer, Sr. Vice President of WFI, commented on the synergistic fit of the acquisition by noting, “TCCI is a natural expansion of our company’s offering with its focus on addressing the tower and site services market. The addition of TCCI to WFI allows us to offer a broader set of self-performance services–from planning, acquisition, zoning, permitting the whole way through site construction, installation and commissioning.”
Rich Taschek, founder of TCCI, will remain with the company and head the Tower Services division for WFI. “Our company is excited about joining the WFI family. We want to continue to grow our business and offer our customers the highest quality site services available in the market. This combination of WFI will give us the financial strength and capability to significantly expand our business,” noted Taschek.
TCCI, established in 1997, is a wireless tower services company addressing the needs of wireless carriers and tower companies across the USA and Puerto Rico. The company’s expertise is in structural steel fabrication, electrical contracting, tower erection and the modernization and structural reinforcement of towers. TCCI maintains a fleet of large tower building equipment across the USA and has a dedicated and seasoned employee base. Headquartered in Marlton, New Jersey, the company prides itself in the delivery of high quality services and is dedicated to achieving customer satisfaction.
