SUNNYVALE, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/08/12 -- DataDirect Networks (DDN), the leader in massively scalable storage, today announced that Jean-Luc Chatelain, Executive Vice President, Strategy and Technology at DDN, will be a featured speaker at Cloud Computing West, November 8-9 in Santa Monica, CA. Chatelain will present "The Future of Cloud Infrastructure" on Friday, November 9, at 9:00 AM, and at 11:00 AM Friday he will also appear as a panelist in the conference closing plenary session, "The Future of Cloud Computing for Entertainment, Telecom, and Investment."
In "The Future of Cloud Infrastructure," Chatelain will discuss current trends in cloud storage, how the object storage paradigm is resolving critical shortcomings associated with traditional file-based storage and web-scale organizational best practices for data infrastructure performance, resiliency and reliability.
Since joining DDN in 2011, Chatelain has spearheaded the worldwide adoption of DDN's award-winning WOS object storage technology, the company's hyper-scalable foundation for cloud storage and computing environments, which is engineered for the web and cloud era to connect distributed organizations and enable insight from a global Big Data namespace.
