CAMBRIDGE, Mass., Nov. 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Forty-seven percent of Tier 1 service providers say their companies are well-positioned for the future, but it could be said that their confidence is eroding, according to according to Light Reading's latest worldwide salary survey. Last year, when Tier 1 Service Providers were asked how their companies are positioned for the future, 54% said as much. However, this year, the theme is stability. Even though we're still in the teeth of a tough economy, a full 75 percent of those surveyed say they expect the head count in their department to stay the same or grow in the next 12 months.
This report breaks down the survey takers by salary, age, and years of experience, while offering some geographical slices around pay and conditions. This report is keen to lock onto employees' attitudes toward their employers and to note how technical advances have changed recruiting trends among the biggest telecom firms.
