MONTREAL, Nov. 7, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - Freeport Capital Inc. (the "Company") a leader on Mobile Credit and PIN Debit payment solutions, is pleased to announce that Mr. Pierre McMaster & Mr. Stephane Boisvert have been elected to its Board of Director at the recent shareholder meeting.
Mr. Pierre McMaster, a serial entrepreneur, has been a significant player in the technology sector. As a private investor in Freeport, he is a partner in a private equity fund, a board member at D-Box Technologies Inc. (DBO: TSX) and at PKWARE, Inc. Mr. McMaster is also a founding partner and former chairman of Kontron AG (KBC: DE) and Teknor Inc. He brings twenty five years of experience and expertise to the company.
Mr. Stephane Boisvert, is currently COO of a consumer electronics manufacturer. Mr. Boisvert was named in 2000 as one of Canada's Top 40 under 40, he is a former EVP President of Bell Business Markets between 2006 and 2011, and has held senior leadership roles at IBM and Sun Microsystems previously. Mr. Boisvert has a diverse background spanning management, sales, marketing, mergers and acquisitions and more - both nationally and internationally. His combined experience in the Telecom and IT sectors provides a unique strategic perspective and knowledge to assist Freeport in its rapid expansion phase.
