Here is the top tech news and stories for Tuesday (sorry about the delay).
- Firefox for Tablets updated with speed and power - one of the top mobile browsers is Firefox. Their latest update mirrors the most recent smartphone update. Unlike many mobile browsers, Firefox supports Flash. Via Phandroid, more here.
- Microsoft has made their SkyDrive application available on Android – SkyDrive is Microsoft’s attempt to combat Google Drive and DropBox. SkyDrive is cloud-based storage for all platforms. Via Droid-Life, more here.

- IBM’s new mainframe aimed at taking over “private clouds” – IBM is hoping to move cloud users over to their big old mainframes. The zEC12 uses CMOS processors and updated “hybrid” computing capabilities. It is an attempt to be high-performance and high-security. Via Ars Technica, more here.
- In this video, the foreman of the Apple v Samsung trial explains his verdict (it’s absurd, via Droid-Life) Here.
- Flipboard hits 20M users, 3B flips per month! – The content gathering service is growing at an astounding rate. The move to Android has to be responsible for a large part of this (because we all know how much Android users love free). Via TechCrunch, more here.
- Dropbox is now offering two-factor authentication - the cloud storage service is now offering more secure access options. The service has been riddled with security issues. Via FierceCIO, more here.
- Google is advertising the Nexus 7 on their homescreen - in a somewhat controversial move, Google has the Nexus 7 directly on their homescreen. It could be a great move for them to help sell more Nexus 7s. Via Droid-Life, more here.
