SAN JOSE, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 04/10/12 -- GlobalLogic, a leader in software R&D services, today announced it has appointed Vladimir Sharov as Managing Director of Ukraine. An accomplished technology executive with more than 20 years of experience, Sharov joins GlobalLogic from Intel Corporation where he served as the Country General Manager and the company's lead representative for several other countries in Eastern Europe. In his role with GlobalLogic, Sharov will provide executive leadership and direction to drive strategic and long-term operation growth.
Sharov has an exceptional ability to drive growth and outperform competitors. In his new role with GlobalLogic, he will continue to direct strategic, long-term growth while ensuring clients receive the highest quality service and support from teams both in country and abroad. He will also help lead the design, operation and improvement of the systems used to create and deliver GlobalLogic's services. Before joining Intel, Sharov served as board member and executive Vice President for a leading Ukrainian software developer and outsourcing provider, where he developed and implemented corporate strategies leading to twenty-fold increases in revenue.
