Hewlett-Packard India today introduced under the range of HP Pavilion Media Center PCs the new HP Pavilion m7382IN model enabled with a Wireless LAN .
Commenting on the launch, P Krishnakumar, country manager Desktops – Personal Systems Group, Hewlett Packard India Sales Pvt. Ltd. said, “Enhanced with revolutionary new Avivo technology, the new HP Pavilion m7382IN Media Center PC, can be connected wirelessly with your home entertainment devices for digital convergence.
He also added, “This desktop is powered by the Intel Pentium D dual core processor & will offer an impressive processing speed to the consumer, not only for regular computing needs but also for gaming, movies, entertainment etc.”
A TV tuner card with a remote control and Creative speakers with sub-woofer, will help transform the digital experience for users, allowing them to watch movies and play songs in theatre-quality sound and will also enhance the gaming experience for avid gamers.
These new desktops are also enabled with HP's unique LightScribe technology that allow users to burn data and laser etch silk-screen quality labels on their CDs in one go.
Speaking on the marketing strategy to promote this exciting new launch, Shuchi Sarkar, head of Marketing – Personal Systems Group, Hewlett Packard India Sales Pvt. Ltd. said, “We are targeting these ultimate machines to the cool & hip teenage population of India. This product will appeal to them in terms of aesthetics as well the unique features such as LightScribe & Personal Media Drive,” she said. She also added, “We are lining up a whole campaign for the Pavilion desktops range, which would include a TV commercial, print advertising & lots of ground level excitement”
Starting at Rs. 34,990, the new Pavilion range of desktops would be available across all HP Experience Zones in the country. HP's desktops are available through HP direct or through HP authorized resellers.
