Booyah, a leading social, web and mobile entertainment company, announced today that Jason Willig has been appointed as the company’s chief operating officer. Willig joins Booyah with over a decade of experience in the interactive entertainment industry and a directive to expand Booyah’s position in the rapidly expanding social/mobile space.

Willig joins Booyah from Electronic Arts, where he oversaw operating activities & strategic initiatives for the Hasbro business unit as the group’s COO. Over the past twelve years, Willig has held leadership positions at top games companies including LucasArts, Gas Powered Games and Vivendi Games. His diverse experience encompasses product development, retail and digital publishing, business development and analytics.
Booyah, dedicated to social and mobile forms of entertainment that combine elements of the real and digital worlds, recently launched the musical rhythm/role-playing iPhone and iPod Touch app Nightclub City DJ Rivals.
